Midland Class of 1963 Class Reunion Midland Class of 1963 forty-fifth class reunion will be on 7/5/08 at noon at the Wright Township Volunteer Fire Department building on the old school grounds. Please come and bring your family and friends and anyone connected with our class. Bring a covered dish for a pitch in meal at noon with your own table service. Drinks (no alcohol allowed on grounds) will be provided. Contact Sherron (Wade) Fields at 812 279-2747 for more information. We would love to have everyone there. Two of us have passed away and there are now 17 remaining of this last class to graduate before consolidation into Shakamak from Midland School. Shakamak State Park Nature Center Activities The Shakamak State Park Nature Center Activities are now posted on the Shakamak Event Schedule Section Senior Citizens Center Gift Shop The Shakamak Senior Citizens Center now has a gift shop which is open to the public. See the Jasonville Senior Citizens Center Schedule for details. Shakamak 2007 Yearbooks may be picked up. 2005 and 2006 yearbooks are also available for purchase. The 2007-2008 Athletic Calendars are in and may be picked up at Main Source Bank. Shakamak Homecoming Parade 2007 Video is located in the Downloads Media Section Philpot in Jasonville A big thanks to Philpot for coming to the Jasonville City Park to perform for the cleanup day. Awesome performance. You can check out video of Philpot on our new video sharing website Woot Video :: Upcoming Special Events :: Jasonville 150th Anniversary Jasonville will be celebrating 150 years on January 23rd, 2008. There will be a two week long celebration in July of 2008. Events being planned are fireworks, parade, car and tractor show, wagon train trail ride and much more. See the calendar for events and times. There will be upcoming meetings sponsored by the Shakamak Area Chamber of Commerce to discuss ideas for the upcoming weeklong 150 year Jasonville Anniversary Celebration. The public is urged to attend. The meetings are held at the American Legion. Hope to see you there with your ideas. See calendar for more details and dates.
