What's happening in Jasonville?

For those of you who have not been to Jasonville for a while there have been many improvements over the year. There is a new caboose at Hanna Field donated by the Indiana Railroad, Casey's upgraded to a new and bigger store, Shakamak State Park had some roads repaved and added some new signs, along with updates to the group camp, the IGA iwas painted last week, the antique store painted the outside last year, the car wash is using environmentally friendly products, new railroad crossing arms were added to the track on main street, and we even have walk lights at the stop light.

If we can get the abandoned buildings updated the town would actually look pretty good. I think we should do a themed city with awnings on the apartment windows above the businesses uptown, a little paint, and some volunteers that would make a tremendous improvement. Any ideas?
