A Journey from Jasonville, Indiana to Löhne, Germany
::
From small town Jasonville to
Germany, these photos were taken on a trip by Shakamak students
and Linton Stockton students to Löhne, Germany
in May of 2006. Share with them their adventures as they share
their photos of their journey....
Each year Shakamak and Löhne, Germany exchange
students. Löhne, Germany is Shakamak's German "sister"
school, one year Shakamak students visit Löhne and the next
Löhne students visit Shakamak. Shakamak
students and Linton Stockton students left for Germany May 30th.
They were there for three weeks and stayed with families in Löhne,
Germany.
The students visited Paris, London, and Amsterdam
during their stay. They visited many sites including castles,
the Eiffel Tower, and Notre Dame, among many other tourist
attractions.
Students and chaperones that went on the trip
included Angela Raper, Ashlynn Hauser, Dena Irwin, Kiersten
Probst, Mindy Kurtz Vanderbrink, Lance Irwin, Matt Pine, and
Nikki Stewart. Some stayed with exchange students that were
here last year and you can view pictures in our Gallery of
their visit. View
stories and photos of their journey.
