Gardening, home decorating and remodeling tip videos added to Home and Garden Fun Pages. Science news added to outdoor fun pages. How stuff works and kids news videos added to Kids Corner fun pages. Health and Fashion news added to health and beauty section. Hope you like all these new features. More affiliate banners added. 08.2007 Video Highlights added of the 2007 Jasonville Fireworks Celebration
07.2007 Desktop Wallpapers of the Jasonville Area were added for download. Jasonville - Shakamak High School Homecoming Schedule was added.
05.2007 Lots of new photos were added to the photo gallery including Shakamak High School Graduation Photos, pictures taken at the Kelly Miller Circus, and some gardening photos. The business directory listings are almost complete with the information we have. All listings are up except for the churches which we hope to get completed soon. If you have a business, club or organization and want listed or would like your listing edited please contact us. We will be working on completing the free one page ads very soon. The 2007 Shakamak State Park Nature Center and Bass Fishing schedule is now available on our community calendar area schedules.
03.2007 Watch for all the latest news, weather and sports information on our news and weather page. We have just added online tickets to the upcoming Kelly Miller Circus and several other news stories.
We have also been working on the new business directory although there are still a lot of businesses to be added. If you do not see your business in the new directory, be patient as we are getting to them as quickly as possible. If you have any logos or additional information about your business, club or organization that you would like added to the directory please contact us.
02.2007 We have been very busy as you can see. The improvements that have been made the past few months include:
A new photo gallery in which you can register and add your own photos, rate photos, and make comments on Jasonville photograpy. Registered members can also send photos by email or as an ecard. Some new photos were also added.
A new color scheme along with some flash images and animations were added to make the website more appealing, along with a new dropdown navigation to aid our visitors in finding what they are looking for.
A new business directory format is in place. GoJasonville visitors can now rate and comment on businesses in the area. This project is not yet complete as many of the Jasonville businesses, clubs and organizations are still being transferred to the new format but when all is complete the directory will include a link to the respective websites or if no website is available the link will go to a free page provided by Woot Hosting and Design.
New weather videos and a new weather format is complete on the news and weather page, along with other videos which were added to download pages.

More future improvements include GoJasonville merchandise, a new sitemap, the completion of the new business directory, a desktop wallpaper section, more ecards and more...so stay tuned.
11.2006 Upgraded Community Calendar to reflect several months. This new script allows for viewing of past and previous months events. It also contains events by categories which will allow you to choose for instance "Meetings" and you will be able to view all meetings taking place in the area. 07.04.2006 - Shakamak State Park offers many naturalist activities and the naturalists at the park were kind enough to provide us with a July schedule of all the fun and interesting activities going on at the park. We have added the schedule to the page...Shakamak State Park Schedule of Events, and have placed links to the page from the GoJasonville Community Calendar and the Shakamak State Park Attraction Page.
06.22.2006 - We've been busy at GoJasonville this month. You will notice several GoJasonville website updates. Here are a few of the site updates that have been made this month:
We have noticed as GoJasonville continues to grow with leaps and bounds that site navigation has become a major problem. We have put our heads together and came up with a few solutions for this problem...A "Search This Site" button is now located on the sides of the pages for easier GoJasonville site navigation. If you are not finding what you are looking for on the GoJasonville Community Site, use this site search.Icons have also been added to various sections of the site, including the GoJasonville Business Directory and GoJasonville Attractions Outdoor Parks and Recreation section, for easier viewing. The Local News and Weather is now linked from the home page for quick access, where you will find up to date local news in the Jasonville community.
The GoJasonville staff feel that it is important to keep the GoJasonville Community Site "fresh" for our visitors, so we have added a lot of "New Stuff" - Here are a few things that have been added to the website...A page is now located in the Visitor Information section concerning relocating to Jasonville to help new residents to Jasonville with their move. A photo page of area residents journey to Germany has been added. The Just For Fun "Teen Mania" and "Kid's Corner" sections have been updated to make them more appealing to their age group and you will find loads of cool new stuff for teens and kids including movie reviews, game reviews, along with internet safety tips. A new advice column has been added to the "Health and Beauty" section providing relationship advice, along with pet care tips, a fitness calculator and other tips and hints. A new GoJasonville Crossword Puzzle has been added to the games section. The GoJasonville Crossword includes questions concerning the Jasonville area and GoJasonville in general. A Bible Search has also been added to the fun pages. You will also notice more schedules and forms have been added to the GoJasonville Community Calendar, including a Shakamak State Park Event Schedule and Jasonville High School/Shakamak High School Homecoming Schedule, along with vendor forms for festivals in the area.

05.27.2006 - As we (GoJasonville.com) make every effort to create a great experience while visiting the site, we are aware that all people will not be satisfied or come to an agreement with how we manage, design, market or otherwise administrate the GoJasonville.com website.
There are individuals who are taking the title and certain content of our site somewhat literally. The word (OFFICIAL) has caused some controversy. We state and link to our 'Terms of Use’ and 'About Us' pages from all pages from our main site, where we indicate, that we are independently owned and operated by the community for the community and are in No Way affiliated with the "GOVERNMENTAL OFFICES" of the “CITY OF JASONVILLE INDIANA”.
We are now in the process of removing the content that would speculate or make any misleading indications that we are governed by the City of Jasonville, Indiana and are sorry if we have misinformed anyone.
Further more we would also like to take this time to mention that there are also individuals that have been disturbed that GoJasonville promotes activities outside of Jasonville, Indiana.
Let us please point out and reconfirm that GoJasonville.com is a website for the community of Jasonville, Indiana and surrounding area and mapped with geographical interests as a whole, which also promotes activities that may be of interest to the community as well as outside residences of our area and most importantly fun to participate and get involved. Also we anticipate a growth of more activity in Jasonville, Indiana in the following years, but in addition, the entire county and surrounding counties as well as the state of Indiana. This anticipated growth will influence GoJasonville.coms' agenda as a whole, but in noway distract our focus toward our GoJasonville community.
We at GoJasonville are a NON Biased site and feel it is important to promote NON Profit Organizations not only in Jasonville, Indiana but in the surrounding area. The controversy comes from a popup on the site that advertises for Bloomington Parks and Recreation Farmers Market. The event is something we strongly feel people in the area would like to visit. The cause is an outstanding cause as it helps out the Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department and the community and business owners in general as well as the state of Indiana as a whole.
To lesson the negative experience at GoJasonville.com the pop-under is a session cookie and only executed one time during one session. If you would like to block the pop-under in your ‘Internet Explorer’ browser, then please Click ‘Tools’ in the top navigation menu then Click ‘Internet Options’ and click ‘Privacy Tab’ and at the bottom of the window it will say ‘Block Pop-ups’. Make sure it's checked and click ‘Apply’ then ‘OK’.
Also as another measure to create a better experience at GoJasonville.com, we have also removed the pop-up from the page in question and have moved it further in our site pages and incidentally complimenting the page that it has been implemented.
What's new here at GoJasonville...Here are a few of the improvements that have been made to the site the last few weeks...You will see that a new tutorial has been designed for the Classified Section for visitors having trouble posting ads.We have added a free download for GoJasonville Wallpaper in the Gallery pages with more to come. For your information, the News and Weather section contains local news and information. You will want to visit that section frequently to keep up with what's going on in the area. Also, the Community Calendar is filled with important announcements and information. Several new smilies and ranks have been added to the Discussions. Keep in mind spam will not be tolerated. The terms and conditions for the site, forums, chats etc. are listed in the Use, Terms and Policies at the bottom of the pages so take a moment to glance at them before posting. In addition, a new look for the Business and Attractions main pages was designed for easier navigation.
This is your site. We are providing this gift as a service to the Jasonville, Indiana community and it's content all depends on you the citizens, visitors and prospective tourists visiting the area. Our only funding for this project is through advertising which will pay for scripts, hosting, commercial web design services, community improvements etc. Therefore, your participation is vital in this project. Please voice your opinions, submit content and get involved in the community. Supporting the community does not necessarily have to include money, just submitting things for the site will increase enthusiasm, participation, and visitors and will help the community in the long term. We encourage students, children and adults alike to participate in the site.
We are always up to suggestions from our visitors, so if you see something that could be improved let us know. Be sure to submit your own photos, events and activities, so that we can get them published. We will also welcome any articles, poems, stories or any other content that we feel would enhance the site.
